giving the error code P0100, Mass air flow sensor?

My truck is giving the error code 0100, Mass air flow. I have replaced the Mass air flow sensor and reset the code but the engine starts running rough ( the idle lopes up and down ) as soon as it starts to warm up. The engine also cuts completley out as soon as you start driving it. The error code 0100 also comes back. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks

There are a number of things that can cause this but we need to run through this testing to know what the issue is.

I am attaching the testing that we need to do in order to figure it out.

Also, here is a guide on how to test the MAF just to ensure your new sensor is okay. This is on a similar truck so it won't be exact but gives a good idea.
