the truck is it seems stuck in reverse. not the actual stick i can move that to what seems like it should be 1st or second. it wont even go into 3rd 4th. when i try to go forward it acts like i am in neutral and stalls. it is like it thinks it is in neutral or reverse.

Will the truck roll in neutral?

the truck will roll with cluch in. at no point will the truck move forward only backwards. unless clutch is in and car is on a hill. sorry im trying to explain as best as i can. :)

It sounds like the transmission is engaged in reverse and the selector into the transmission has broken, Can you feel any resistance with the shifter? or is it slack? If you can feel it select a forward gear, i feel that the transmission will have to be removed to further inspect and repair.
