1993 Nissan Truck Brake Lights stay on

One day last week, I turned off the truck and my brake lights stayed on. The only way I can get them turned off is to remove the fuse. I can't find any shorts in the wiring harness in the light assembly.

adjust and or replace your brake light switch. hope this helps

Is this part available at a retail parts supply? Where is the switch located?

yes, very inexpensive and is located at the brake pedal. look up under dash and when you press the pedal you will see the switch, it has a rod that pops out of it when the pedal is pressed, this is what is supposed to activate the lights.
