To replace that quarter glass, you will first have to remove the door paneling so you can access all of the edges of the window. To remove the paneling, follow the diagram below.

Now that the panel is off, you must cut the urethane bonding from the window glass using a very sharp razor knife. Once this urethane is completely severed, the glass will be able to separate from the body of the door. A helper may be needed so that the glass will not fall out completely when cutting the bonding. When installing the new glass, be certain to open a window first. This will prevent pressurizing the passenger compartment. Remember if a door or trunk is slammed before the new urethane is cured, water leaks can result so be extra careful. Ensure all of the old urethane material is completely scraped from the window opening. Then clean the inside of the glass with some glass cleaner and lint-free cloth. Apply some PVC (vinyl) primer 25 mm (1 inch) wide around the edge of the glass. Wipe with clean and dry lint-free cloth. Apply window frame primer around the edge of the frame. Allow at least 10 minutes of drying time. Apply a 10 mm ( 0.4 inch) bead of urethane around the window vinyl border location. Position the glass into the window frame opening and lock the clips into place.
