I took in my car to have the fuel injector kit replaced, due to hesitation when starting car. When they were done, I got in the car and it smelled like gas really bad. I thought they spilled fuel when repairing the car, so I went on and waited two days. It still smelled, so I took it back. They tightened the seals to make sure there was nothing loose. Then I had to take it back again. There is supposedly no leak, according to the repair technician. He stated they must have spilled gas. So they cleaned the spot and let the car air out. Would the gas smell be in the car 7 days after they spilled gas? I even left my windows down every night to air out the car (in my garage) and my garage smelled like gas it was so bad. Does this sound like a leak to you?
