I don't know if you guys can answer this question but here goes. I own own a 2005 Nissian Sentra for about a year now and the car has been great up till this point. But the other day when I started the car, it started fine but the gas pedal is totally unresponsive when the pedal is engaged and the car will not move in reverse or in drive. The engine seems like it is getting no gas at all. In park the car seems like it engine revolutions a little bit but that is when the pedal is almost totally engaged. Any opinions on what the problem could be?

That sounds like your throttle position sensor. That should set a code and your CEL should turn on. Did it?
