2004 Nissan Sentra steering wheel sticks sometimes

2004 Nissan Sentra 4 cyl Automatic 64000 miles

over the past couple of weeks I have experienced several episodes of my steering wheel locking after I jiggle the wheel for a short period it unsticks...what is the issue...thanks in advance for your help

Sounds like the locking mechanism in the column is sticking. Sometimes you can lube them and they will stop sticking, but it may need to be replaced. Remove the covers so that you can see it and try lubing it
