2003 Nissan Sentra can't fill gas tank

I have a 2003 Nissan Sentra. I cannot fill up my tank. I hold the nozzle down and it shuts itself off repeatedly after about $2 worth of gas and then the gas comes shooting back out at me. What's wrong with it?

Hi there,

The fuel tank venting ?purge system is blocked, this is a job i recommend your mechanic attend to as it can be rather complex system.

Oh My,

that was happeneing to my 2001 Senta SE for about 1month...then it just stopped. Now it's fine ??!!??
