We've had trouble with our sentra climbing hills for some time. It starts losing power, so you give it some gas. Nothing. Then, suddenly, the engine revs very high (5k), but we get no more power. Occasionally the car stalls when stopped at a red light (in drive). Today the Check Engine light came on. The dealership said we needed an Oxygen Sensor Kit that would cost $1200 parts & labor. This seems an outrageous price, since I've found oxygen sensors online for $25, and I can't find an oxygen sensor kit anywhere. I just don't want to get ripped off.
