What is the average cost to replace an engine in a 2001 Nissan Sentra XE, 1.8L, automatic? The used engine has about 30,000 miles. Include cost of engine plus labor cost to install engine. Thank you.

Your looking at around 1500-2000 dollars to pull the old one and replace it with the new engine.That seems to be the average cost give or take a few hundred here in florida.You might be able to shop around and find a shop that will do it for under a grand given you have the replacement engine allready.

I looked around for the cost of your engine and here is a link to one on ebay. It has more miles than you asked about but im sure if you call around your city you can find several used engine dealers. Unless you live in a very small town.LOL Here in jacksonville fl there is like 20 or more used engine dealers and the cost can average from 500 to 1200 dollars for a real nice used engine. here is the link to one on ebay you just pay 1 or 2 hundered more for shipping.
