ignition control module location?

Could someone PLEASE tell me whether the ignition module is bulit-in to this car's distributor or it is a separate part................I have been quoted a rather high price to replace the distributor and a friend of mine (who is unfortuantely 2,000 miles away who is a mechanic believes it is only the ignition module). I have spoken to another mechanic in MA - and although he is not familiar with the car also thinks it might only be the ignition module - armed with this I called the mechanic back at the shop the car had been towed to and he insists that the ignition module is integrated into the distributor.
