my car won't pass the emissions test because of the code P0500. i replaced the speed sensor but it still shows the same code. my speedometer works. what can i do so my car will pass?

Was the speedometer working before you replaced the speed sensor?

After replacement did you erase the error code?

I think you have a tuning problem rather than what you suggested.

A simple thing as a clogged air filter will cause you to fail the emission test. Get a tuneup done for your car.
