1995 Nissan Sentra Brakes lights

1995 Nissan Sentra 4 cyl Automatic 122,00 miles

Have a 95 Sentra. The rear hood and one brake light stayed on after engine turned off. Then, no brake lights at all. Replaced brake light switch. Have rear lights, but no brake lights, fuses are fine. I was told it could be a trip sensor. Is this possible? Or what else could be the problem? Thank you.

if the trunk light and one brake light stayed on then most likely have wiring issue somewhere. check wiring, especially ground wires , at both of the rear taillights as well as the trunk light.
