nissan sentra is not starting it seems not to get enough gas to start. you sometimes have to pump the exelerator to get it started. I changed the fuel filter but it still doesnt start all the time.

What liter engine is this? 1.6 or 2.0

You do not need to pump the accelerator pedal to start the car this is an EFI system-it does not have a carbuerator Pumping it could flood the engine-you're confusing the computer.

Check the fuel pressure with a fuel pressure gauge and comeback with the readings.
