I have a 1994 Nissan Sentra Automatic 4 cyl. The Brake/Battery Light keep coming on and off. You can hear a clicking noise every time it comes on and off. We replaced the front brakes and the battery. Now the Brand NEW battery is loosing all juice and the car is dieing while driving the car. Once we get it home and plugged into a battery charger is turns right on!

What could be causeing this problem?

I did that. I was told the allternator is fine. No problem they said.

What could be causing the brake/batteryl light to be clicking on and off constantly?

check the alternator wiring. The alternator can test good but it can possibly have a bad connection going to it since you said it dies while driving and you said you had it tested. Or there's a small possibility that the new battery can be defective. Hope this helps and hopefully it should cure that light. As far as the brake light since you said you replaced the front brakes, check the master cylinder and see if its full. If that's not it then it sounds like electrical problem. Personally if it were me if I know the brakes and brake fluid was good and the alternator it plugged up and charging, I wouldn't worry about it but if it makes you that nervous which I understand then you have to do something about it. Let me know how it goes. Thanks.
