Hello, I recently bought a 1987 Nissan Sentra with an automatic transmission and it has a 1.6 motor. The car has 100500 miles on it. The speedometer didn't work so I pulled the cable out of the tranny and spun it and the speedometer needle did not move. I took the speedometer out of the dash and found that the cable was broken at that end, I replaced the cable with a new one and now the speedometer works but it reads really fast compared to the actual speed you are traveling as in 85 mph on the speedometer is actually going 55 mph. Is there anything I can try to correct this? Thank You So Much!
