Okay the problem I am having with my truck is at first it was cranking but not popping off, so I assumed it was the fuel pump. replace the fuel pump then I assume that the battery was no good. replace the battery, then I replace the battery terminals. then I had the starter checks because it was not turning over anymore. the starter was bad and replace. the truck still will not turn over. I just ordered all new release and very confused do not know what else it could be.

The problem started when you replaced the battery and terminals. I would start by checking the wire to the starter. I have seen where the wires look good but corrosion on the inside made bad contact. If you can get at the starter wire easily then try a jumper wire from the battery to the starter. Since it started with replacing the battery I would recheck the connections.

I will check into that. also, about a year and a half ago I was going to the mall and I went to turn my truck off and it still was running and I could completely remove the key. I drove to my friend's house and we worked on it for several hours turns out then it was the ignition switch relay. I move the relay around and checked under where the ignition switch was and it worked just fine, until now. where the car at first was cranking but not popping off now it is not even turning over like if it had a drained battery.

Go to a automotive store, most check batteries for nothing. reason I say this is that I had a garage put a new battery in a car, I assumed since the battery was new there would not be a problem. Car sat for a couple of days and went to start it and nothing. checked for voltage drain in the alternator, radio memory, and anything that would cause drain. Come to find out that the new battery had a weak cell and the battery would drain in not time. I learned the hard way that even with things that are new can have a defect.

When I brought it back to get tested it says it was a good battery. I read somewhere that it could be if the Nissan switch is bad it will not allow it to turn over which is why my fuel pump is not kicking on.

check the neutral safety switch, to see if it is letting voltage to start the truck, have you had the system scanned for any stored codes.

There is a switch on the brake pedal arm that controls that locking mechanism.

The transmission range sensor is located at the transmission. Here is a wiring diagram and a guide so you can test to see where you are losing power. The range sensor is on the transmission where the link cable connects.

https://www.2carpros.com/articles/how-to-use-a-test-light-circuit-tester

There is a starter relay I would check as well.

Here is the starter relay location (below).

Please run down these guides and report back

Good then it sounds like you have a fuel pump relay or you lost power to the relay. Here are the engine and fuel pump wiring diagrams so we can test for power. The fuel pump relay is located in the IPDM under the hood.

Check out the diagrams (below).

Please let us know what happens.

I have an idea can you please check the ignition for spark?

Here is a guide please check toward the bottom:

https://www.2carpros.com/articles/how-to-test-an-ignition-system

I am thinking the crankshaft sensor could be out which will cause the fuel pump relay not to come on.

Please run down this guide and report back.

No, it does not. I was thinking it could be the oil pressure sensor and I was also wondering if there is a fuel pump switch?

Okay, we are getting closer. When you run the codes did any come up? Also, lets check the fuses #12 and #19 to see if they have power with the key on?

Here is a wiring diagram to help you see how the ALDL is wired

Check out the diagrams (below). Please run this test and get back to us.

I do not have a machine to check the codes and I tried to bring it to AutoZone but they said they could not check my codes because I did not have a check engine light on. Is there a machine I can buy to check the codes even though I do not have a check engine light?

I do know that when I put the key in the ignition switch my windows are able to roll down my doors are able to lock and all the lights come on in the inside. I can crank it but it does not pop off, so could it be because there is no power going to the switch?

Was this truck in a flood by chance? It sounds like the PCM is bad. I would do a pin to pin check on the wiring and then try a new PCM a shop may need to program it for you. I would try a used one to see what happens you can get one from a wrecking yard.

And also I was wondering I had a friend look at it and he told me it could be the oil pressure sensor which is not allowed in the fuel pump to kick on or he told me it could be the catalytic converter. So before I replace the computer I was wondering what your thoughts were on this? Personally I think it's the oil pressure sensor.
Well at least that is what I am praying it is, but again I wanted to get your feedback on this.

The engine should at least fire up for a little bit if it were the oil pressure sender. As far as the IPDM it is all about checking the wiring to makes sure it all good. It is difficult to test the computer unless you send it to a re-builder.
