2004 Nissan Pathfinder how to check for feul pressure

2004 Nissan Pathfinder 6 cyl Four Wheel Drive Automatic

i ran my car on a nissan scanner and there was no error.
but i heard that a feul pump failure wont be detected by scanner is that right?

Most things won't be detected by a scanner. The scanner only monitor sensor data and other specific electronic issues. Some will flag an electrical issue with a fuel pump but has no idea about fuel pressure. You need to use a manual gauge for that. You don't even mention what your looking for in the first place. If the engine won't start, there are specific tests to help isolate the cause of that.

i already had posted the problem under decrease in acceleration when driving. (on 24/09/2010). and i got no reply. thats why i asked about this problem exactly.
