Suddenly the car died and I was pushing on the gas but the rpm was only rising to 2000 to 3000 rounds per minute. I went to the mechanic he said it is from the catalytic converter. I cut the out and the jeep was doing better but it didn’t go back to its usual power. The acceleration is so decreased, and I noticed that it used to shift gears more quickly. My mechanic said it is either from the fuel pump or from mass airflow. I put it on the scanner it showed catalytic system code 0230 and 0240.
