I live in the very hot Dominican Republic. Purchased a used pathfinder and it has been fine for 2 years. Now, I have this engine pinging...sounds like marbles...put the sound is referred to as pinging, I believe. It does not come on when the engine is cool. I need to drive it for about 10 to 15 minutes before I get the pinging noise. It is worse on quick acceleration. Any help would be appreciated. If you believe it to be a specific item...any help in locating it would be appreciated also.
