I have a few repetitive tickings in the engine block. Should I adjust the valve lifters?

Those are hydraulic lifters and dont require adjusyment.If you have a valve ticking (fast tick) then you most likely have a lifter that has gone away.Do you have any oil pressure issues? like warning lights or generally low pressure on the gauge (if equipped). If not then it may just be a lifter gone bad, it happens.
