1991 Nissan Pathfinder Smoking

I have a 91 Nissan Pathfinder 4wd. It Has 170000 miles, still runs strong, however on start up it has white smoke with no noticable drop in coolant. After it warms up, it will change to black smoke upon acceleration. I'm confused whether this is a gasket, ring or mixtue problem.

The black smoke is mixture, too rich.. Try new O2 sensors to cure that. Is the check engine light on?
