Electrical problem
1988 Nissan Pathfinder 4 cyl Four Wheel Drive Automatic 300k miles

THis happened (or noticed) about 3 days ago. My Brake Lights and the passenger side tail light dont work. I have Checked the Fuses and they seem to be good (no broken metal in the middle) and the bulbs are good as well. IS this the brake switch or could it be wiring?

Also about 2 weeks ago something happened my hand brake to where it wont depress all the way down unless im manually holding it in. so I have been driving a little bit with the E-Brake on just a touch...could that be a casue?

Please help, this is a very old car with high milage and if its the wiring im not sure it would be worth fixing

THanks
Josh

Check the brake switch-follow the brake pedal arm to it meets up to the support bracket you'll find the switch here. Unplug it and jumper the wiring connector did the light come on?
