I have a 1982 Datsun 210 2 door sedan, with 1.2 Litre engine.
My temperature gauge only starts working once every couple of months and only for a few seconds at that. I have bought 3 thermostats in the last 3 years to try and make my temperature gauge work properly but it does the same thing with each one. I take my car in to get it serviced every few months. The gauge used to work many years ago but slowly stopped working. What could be causing this? Is the temp. guage not related to the thermostat?
