spare battery

need a portable spare battery to runlights.and music for camping what wires do i need to run to charge it on the go :?

A ground wire to the chassis and a wire from the + battery post. It isn't a good idea to charge it this way without an isolator because the voltage regulato/alternator will not charge both batteries with the the same voltage/current. It could damage the alternator if used for an extended amount of time.
