Instruction on how to replace oil pump.

I have an FJ20 engine and I have lost oil pressure.

I installed a mechanical gauge and still no pressure.

Question is can I replace the oil pump by dropping pan or do I have to remove the timing chain cover?

I haven't hit that engine yet, so I couldn't tell you. Best bet is skim a chilton's at your local auto parts store.
