1996 Other Nissan Models Window motor

My drivers side power window goes down but will not go up. The motor is running but the cable is not moving. If I take the door apart and lift up on the bottom of the window as I hold the button it will go up. Do you think the motor is bad or might I have another problem? Thanks

your prob lem is a b ad window regulator. thats the part the motor is bolted to. very common.
