Bro,

If you are running 2 plugs per cylinder, you should be running two coils, one for intake and one for exhaust. Have you checked the coil for the intake plugs?

The rotor also has two tracks, one for each plug configuration, the tracks for the intake side may be damaged...replace the rotor...

Also, check plug wires, some may be shorting...

The hesitation on hills could be that your not building revs up high enough to sustain load or may be your vacuum advance isn't advancing(duh? techy huh?)...check timing here too, the load up hill or hard acceleration may "move" the timing if the chain or belt is bad...check timing variation with timing light, the mark should only move moderately if any..

Hint on the computer, personally speaking if your truck still starts your ok there, if this unit is damaged in any way your up a creek without a paddle...
