1983 Other Nissan Models 280zx problem

I have a problem with my 280zx. When I step on the gas it sputters real bad and seems to choke itself out. I've replaced the fuel filter many times and it runs great for a short time after changing the filter then it goes right back to the same problem. Any help you could give would be appreciated and I'd happily make a donation. thank you
