1978 Other Nissan repair Question v belt

my alternator belt snapped and i am trying to replace it with out taking everything apart. i can not seem to loosen the smog belt to get behind it.
my car is a 1978 datsun b210
i would really appreciate your help being as how everyone that has looked at it is stumped

i am trying to replace it with out taking everything apart. Do it right playing shortcut can cause something else to blow up. Try loosening the smog pump. Every belt has a way of adjustment/removal procedures. If it was me not affected by the EPA IM-240 program I'll cut it off and disable the air injection system.
