1996 Nissan Micra

Possible exhaust leak, lack of oil pressure, could you tell ig coming from engine or under car? have opened hood to listen?

looked under the hood, yeah sounds like it's the engine when idling. don't know cant place the sound when driving it sounds as if it is possibly coming from under the hood. however this diesel sound is intermittent it can be normal for a couple of days, then reoccur also its soundiing worse when it reoccurs. i've checked the oil looks like oil needs topping up.

May be baffling in catalytic convertor rattling
