Hi, I have a 92 Maxima body with an 89 3.0 SOHC motor and auto tranny. My mechanic and I put a full gasket set on the motor and changed the tranny fluid. The car idle's fine but when put in gear it drops below parked idle. When it is driven it accelerate at a fast rate, it just slowly moves. We used the top of the intake from the motor it came out of because of the fuel injection and most of the components(alternator, battery, distributor, cap, rotor, power steering) were brought new within a year. Does this sound like a tranny computer problem from the switch of the years? If so where could I hook a tester up to the car to find the right code to find out?
