the battery for three years kept getting corroded the positive terminal. I was told car wasnt driven enough is this a possible cause

Now that you are totally confused ...lol all you have to do is keep the terminal posts tight and ensure that the terminals are a neat fit and use a good quality terminal anti corrosion treatment, you can get this from all good auto parts stores.
