2005 Nissan Maxima rattle noise?

Hi, its been abouth a month or so that when i accelarate there is a noise that i hear. It's a rattle noise (metal sort of)....i don't know what this could be, coud this mean that i need new brake pads?

HEY, TAKE A LOOK AT A FEW THINGS. THE COTTER PIN FOR THE CVJOINT AXLE NUT. (I TAPPED IT DOWN WITH ELECTRICAL TAPE. IT HELPED ME WITH THE RATTLE THAT I HEARD WHEN I HIT SMALL BUMPS.) BUT FOR THE ACCELERATION, CHECK OUT THE INNER C RING ATTACHED TO THE INNER CV AXLE, ON THE DRIVERS SIDE AXLE.
