2000 Nissan Maxima Starter

With out removing the Starter how can I check to be sure its bad. The Battery is new but the starter will not turn the engine. I want to be sure the starter is bad before replacing it.

You can take it to most garages and they can perform a starter draw test, (the amps the starter is pulling), If heavy or light it is probably the starter.
Most auto parts stores will test the starter (off the car) for free.

Hey
I'm havig a problem with my nissan maxima also. I think its the started because it will not start at all. Just make a clicking noise and all the lights come on in the car. So just wondering if it was the starter and did your also make a clicking noise but wouldn't start and all the lights were working in the car. THanks hope to hear from you soon
