2000 Nissan Maxima cooling fans

2000 nissan maxima se overheated and noticed one of my cooling fans was not working, so i tapped on it and it started turning but real slow and not near as fast as my other fan. could this be a individual fan problem or a relay problem.

brushes in the fan motor are worn out just go get the whole assy from auto parts store as it is easier to install and it normally comes with a long warranty and if one motor is dying the other is ? ? ?
