Engine Performance problem
1998 Nissan Maxima 6 cyl Automatic 130000 miles

Hi, I have purchased "Berryman B-12 Chemtool® Carburetor Fuel Injector and Fuel System Cleaner" to clean my carburetor. Is this safe for engine ?, How do I use this cleaner. Instruction says that I need to pour 1 oz for every gallon of gas, I wanted to make sure that It doesn't break anything. Please let me know how do I use this cleaner.

B12 is used when carb or injectors out of the engine
where you can sock them in it
its a very strong stuff it will take the paint of the car if became in touch with it
its not good to be used around plastic or rubber

so, If I understand correctly I need to take the carb and fuel injectors out of the engine and soak with the B-12 solution. why does the instruction say that I need to put in gas tank ?

Use it as directed ,as some use it as a fuel additive ,add to fuel tank and fill it up ,
personally never used it as an additive or on a fuel injected car
