My 96 Maxima has been having intermitent problems with lack of power, hard starting when cold, engine revving on it's own and occasional gear hunting. The check engine light came on and I brought it into my mechanic to have the code read. It came up as a bad MAF sensor. Could this sensor be causing all the problems I mentioned above? Any info would be great.
