1995 Nissan Maxima 6 cyl Front Wheel Drive Automatic

how would you know if my Automatic transmission control unit is bad? My car is stalling while i am stopped,(Very low idol) and my transmission has a shift from 1st gear to 2nd gear...

Hi Fran619,

Low idling speed are usually caused by dirty throttle body and the Auxialiary Air Control Valve. Get them cleaned and retest.

Sorry, I do not understand the part about the transmission. Can you elaborate on it?
