I replaced a radiator which had won out but now the gears are no enganging as per required ,First gear ,sport ,reverse are all fine ,the problem as you accerarate the gears are not changing which results in high idle and over heat .please help

I presume that it is an auto? so start with a transmission scan for any unresolved fault codes and ensure the trans oil level is correct and the oil is not contaminated.

Thanks will give the comment and can stepper motor in the gear box contributes to the gears not change from low to hgh.

may be a faulty shift solenoid or a line pressure related problem, look here first.
