My truck died the other day and it will not start. When I took the distributor cap off I found out the distributor is not turning like it should. My father in law thinks that maybe the timing belt/chain has something to do with the problem. He believes it broke. He wasn't sure if my engine was a "crash" engine or not. He explained to me what the term meant but I wanted to know if anyone knew if this make and model of engine was a crash engine or not. Can anyone tell me?
