Nissan Altima 2.4 GXE 1999, 120000 miles.
I am having trouble with the clutch. It initially started as a burning smell, which may or may not be related. Anyway, the mechanic 1 told me the clutch plate had worn out, and replaced it. Then, after a few months, the clutch would go to the floor too easily, and the gears would not shift. If I pumped the clutch, it seemed to regain some power. Clutch fluid level was low. Different mechanic 2 replaced slave cylinder.
Again same problem one year later, the clutch fluid was very dirty looking, but level was okay.mechanic 2 replaced master cylinder. A few weeks later, again same problem, clutch fluid level low now. What to do.
