Coolant Leak

I noticed a little spray of water on my front wind shield...a few miles later my car was overheating and steam was coming out from under the hood. What happened?

Sounds like you have a coolant leak that is most likely coming from a hose. The way to find this is to pressurize the system and inspect for leaks.
