Does it happen when the vehicle is not running?

Do you have an anti-theft system..factory or aftermarket?
Is it a random blinking or a steady consistent flashing?

The vehicle is rebuilt, there is no alarm system. Both lights flash on and off when the car is running. It started when the lights where on auto, turning them on manually they stopped flashing for a short time then both started flashing again.

It does not have daytime running lights. When it became dark last night the flashing stopped. They are not flashing today.

Hmmm...just drive it in the dark. ;-)

IF it continues, I'll get the other diagram. Surprised it doesn't especially based on the new info...although, the darkness probably has nothing to do with it, since it is happening in the daylight.

So do you think this caused by a relay problem or a wiring problem on headlight control arm?

Anything is possible with a rebuilt situation.

You want to assume that everything was done right....but...

I'm thinking a relay. I'm not the greatest electrical guy by far though. Either the system is is controlled by the ground being interupted or the power being interupted for it to flash. Since it is a consitent type of flash it makes me think internal problem with a relay Do you want the other diagram? IF so, do you want it emailed? You can send a PM with your address to me if you do.
