...my clutch has recently (two days) started to stay on the floor of the car when it is depressed and the car stalls when I come to a complete stop. I can only get the clutch to come back up when I pull it up with my foot. Sometimes, however, it will spring back in place by itself. I also notice that the clutch will still work but very minimally when it stays down.

What in the world could this problem be???

Thank you in advance,
Alan

Could be it needs a pedal freeplay and height adjustment -the clutch master cylinder/Clutch slave/servo and the clutch assembly

Thank you so much for taking a look at my question. I had a feeling it may have been something to do with my master/slave cylinder but I have had little experience with manual transmissions as this is my first car with one in it.

The only concern that I have is this "Servo" that you mention. Doesn't this mean that somehow it is connected to the "Transmission???"

If so, I had the servos replaced by the Nissan Dealer approximately 2 years ago. Could it be the same thing and could it already be time to replace/adjust the servo in such a short time???

Thanks again!

The only way to tell is to watch the slave/servo engage the clutch release fork when clutch pedal is depressed-
