Automatic 85,000 miles

I tried to turn my windshield wipers on this morning and the one on the passengers side worked but the one on the drivers side did not come up so the one on the passengers side got caught on that one. I tried it later and the one on the drivers side worked good for one wipe and then on the second wipe it did not come back up.

There was a big snow storm a couple of days ago. When i get in the car and start up and turn windshield wipers on, they do not come on. They were working fine up until the snow storm. It has been a couple of days and they still are not working.

My car is a 1997. Recently I was driving and my driver's side wiper just stopped working. What caused this, and how can it be repaired?

Try getting a replacement wiper transmission from a junk yard. you can probably do it yourself, these unbolt as one unit from the cowl area.
