Hi,

I need to replace my A/C compressor clutch... I know enough about it to get into trouble. I believe the clutch is located in the wheel that is driven by the serpentine belt and it seems that I can swap wheels and replace the clutch without dealing with removing hoses or messing with coolant. I don't have any equipment to store the coolant so I'd really like to be able to swap the clutch without removing or losing the coolant.
So am I oversimplifying in my thinking here? And if so could you fill me in on what I should know about changing the A/C clutch. Thanks I appreciate your help!

The whole wheel is the clutch. In order to remove it from the compressor, you have to have a special puller, which I don't believe you have enough room to put the puller in place to pull the clutch out.
