My car acts as if it is going to stall when at stop signs, etc. I have changed plugs, air filter, oil filter, distributor, rotors.
It does this intermittently. I have gone in to have it checked at the repair shop, but because it doesn't always do this, they haven't gotten a clear diagnostic. The one time it did happen when I was out, I was able to get to an auto parts store where they checked it with the computer. It came up as a random misfire. It quit doing it the next day and started again today. (about a month)
Quite often it stops after driving it for an hour.

Try misting some water over the coils and see if it acts up. Some of the nissans were prone to coil trouble. I thought there was a tsb isued on it, but don't see it.

What brand of plugs did you use?

When I changed the plugs I used the recommended Bosch platinum series which didn't require "re-gapping"

For what it matters...I never use bosch. I have replaced plenty of new bosch plugs however. The ones I have had had excellent results with are autolite or NGK. Not that I don't like bosch as a company for other things, I have had seen too many problems with this brand. Often it is a plug pushed by autozone who happens to have a bad track record on dependable electrical parts in my experience.

I assume the gap was checked prior to installation?

Its good practice to recheck gaps before installation, Not uncommon for them to be wrong. I'm not sure how bosch does there applications, but most other brands ( all as far as I know) will have a plug that will be for different engine applicications requiring different gaps, but the same part numbers.

Aside from that, Plugs are easy to drop and even in the box it can close the gap.
