Need Help in rolling my power window up. When I went out today to my car and warmed it up, I rolled the window down. I noticed it stopped half way down. Then I proceeded to hit the lower button again and it went down. However when I wanted to roll it back up it started to slowly, then it stopped a third of the way up.
This had happened before to me once, the last time I just lowered it all the way down, then pushed the button to roll it up and that worked. Well that failed this time. I have already taken the door panel off and can get to the window motor. when I click the down button I can hear the motor, but I do not seem to hear anything when I click up. All the other 3 windows in the car work fine.
My main concern for right now is to roll the window up. I am currently in Michigan and it is COLD and snowing outside. If the motor needs to be replaced I can manage to do that but I need to roll my window up first so I can drive back home.
Is there a way to manually roll the window up or disengage the power motor, please let me know soon as you can.
