1996 Nissan Altima Uses Oil

Has this just started since the tune up? Also, is the smoke blue or more white?

It didn't seem to be burning oil before the tune up, but it sure does now. Since the car belongs to my great niece, I am trying to keep it running for her, but it drinks oil now

Are there any visible leaks? Also, is the smoke blue or white? I can't think of anything they could have done by tuning the engine that would cause this.

There are no oil leaks at all and it seems that it is just blowing it out the tailpipe.

If you have oil coming out the exhaust, you have to have a bad headgasket.

I finally got an answer from my husband and he said that the exhaust is a blue gray color, to me it just look like lots of oil, but the head gasket was suppose to be replaced previously, (I paid for this repair and have the receipt) and now I wonder if it was really repaired or not. Any additional information would be greatly appreciated.

That is mostly normal for the exhaust. The only thing I can think of is this. Smell the motor oil and see if it has a fuel smell to it.
